BVSc Course Duration
The BVSc & AH program is structured across 5.5 years, which includes:
π 4.5 years of academic learning with a focus on veterinary medicine, surgery, and diagnostics
π₯ 1 year of compulsory internship in recognized animal hospitals, veterinary clinics, or livestock research centers

To apply for a BVSc seat, a candidate must:
β Pass 12th (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
β Score at least 50% aggregate in PCB subjects (General/GEN-EWS category)
β Reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) students need a minimum of 40%
β Be 17 years or older at the time of admission
NEET (UG) is Mandatory for BVSc Admission
Admission to most state and central veterinary colleges is based on NEET-UG scores. Here’s what you need to qualify:
